First off lets explain the group, the strangeness of the name, and the record: Dali Vaughan Edward is a digital lofi punk collaboration between Wolf King and Eris from the Team Shithead collective; the name of the group is derived from Wolf King’s favorite painter, guitar player, and the name of one of Wolf King’s father’s victim; and finally, the record is a experiment in writing, tracking, mixing, and mastering. 

The record was written and recorded in three days with just one acoustic guitar and bass on stolen software on ancient compaq purchased originally for 250 dollars; mixed and mastered in three days. The post production was arranged by Eris, initial tracking was mostly done by Wolf King, the pair sharing vocals duties throughout the record. 

Lyrically the record is about romance in the belly of waste. Relationships to lifestyle choices; romance lives in low income apartments and cocaine driven high rises. 

Art can be created anywhere, at anytime with exactly what you have to work with. Go write and record your own records and share with the world. #teamshithead out.
